12. Jeżeli umowa lub statut osoby prawnej określa przeznaczenie majątku pozostałego po jej likwidacji, a przepisy szczególne przewidują taką możliwość, starosta właściwy ze względu na siedzibę osoby prawnej przekazuje mienie nabyte przez Skarb Państwa na określony cel w terminie roku od ujawnienia się tego majątku.
