1. Osoba posiadająca stwierdzone kwalifikacje do wykonywania czynności kierownika ruchu zakładu górniczego albo zakładu określonych w art. 58 ust. 1 pkt 3–4a i ust. 2 pkt 1 oraz kwalifikacje w zakresie przygotowania zawodowego, o którym mowa w art. 54 pkt 3 i 4, i kwalifikacje w zakresie doświadczenia zawodowego, o którym mowa w art. 55, wymagane od kierownika działu ruchu zakładu górniczego albo zakładu określonych w art. 58 ust. 1 i ust. 2 pkt 2 może wykonywać czynności kierownika tego działu.
