Art. 1140.

§ 1. Sąd z urzędu postanowi o wezwaniu przez ogłoszenie osób roszczących sobie prawa do spadku, spadkobierców i wierzycieli spadkodawcy, aby w ciągu trzech miesięcy zgłosili i uprawdopodobnili swoje prawa. W ogłoszeniu należy wskazać obywatelstwo, miejsce zamieszkania i miejsce zwykłego pobytu spadkodawcy.

§ 2. Ogłoszenie doręcza się właściwemu urzędowi skarbowemu i konsulowi.
